Worth 10k

Hi guyz.
I am planning to buy a cell phone worth 10k ( i.e the budget may vary a slight...).
I need the following for my phone( priority wise )---
1.MP3 payer
2.expandable memory
3.Customer support
4.Interface
# Camera is not a priority but it will also be gud if it has one.
Please tell which should i buy.SE,Nokia,Moto.....
Also is it true that SE phones are very much fragile? i.e they crack on a fall ???

If you can stretch your budget a little OR wait for some time OR don't mind a grey market piece at present then go for Nokia 6630. It has everything that you are looking for, is a really good phone. For MP3, you will have to get the software installed separately.

Moto L7,262K screen,mp3,blooth,expandable memory,u name it u have it.alternative one is the moto E398,pretty old costs lesser and sounds great.

Another question about Ngage.......
can the display be clourful coz of the Ngage(s) i have seen its pretty dull.Is the Silver Edition available in India ???

Moto Razr is pathetic. I haven't seen a single satisfied user so far. As for cam in cell, well its nothing great! Even my N70 with 2MP cam doesn't give that good results. But cams in sony-ericcson are better.

If you have a separate DigiCam this cam in cell is useless.

All said and done .... it seems that Ngage QD is better over 6600...is it...and whta is the opinion on 3230 and 7610 ????
Coz i amnt a gamer but an MP3 craver.Wht about SE models( in the +- 10k range) ????

Dun eva think of 3230..it is one of da worst fone from nokia..its literally pathetic..7610 is a vry good choice but i guess its more then 10k..may b 11.5k.but its one da most VFM fone available in de market..gr8 looks...1MP cam..decent sound quality..etc etc.if u r not vry keen on camera..then ngage QD will b da best choice..at juz 6.7k
-SE dun hav much option to choose from in this range..may K608..but widout expandable slot.it has only 32MB.but gr8 looks,decent cam,Edge,Bluetooth,1.3MB cam....arnd 10.5k.
but i dun think its a gud idea to go for a 10k fone widout expandable memory.

if u want the best possible sound go 4 sony ericsson
if u want the best camera go for samsung(no doubt man even the cheapest cam is the rockin 1)
if u want feature rich fone at the cheapest cost go for motorola
if u want ur fone to play games add more softwares i mean an all in 1 nokia is available
well there are more brands like voq(recently launched)benq siemens alcatel lg(a good brand though a new1) but i dont recommend it to u

see the screen wont be a problem ngage qd rox

rest assured u will rock if u buy 1

else u can change i wont force u

I suggest you extend your budget by a couple of thousands and can own 6630 or w550i - the 2 best phones I think within the range of 11.5k-12.5k

Oh puhleese!!!!!!! It's an established fact that Sony Ericsson phones have the best cameras (K750/790/800i and W800/810/900i). SAMSUNG! Are you for real!! It's the most ridiculous and stupid company.

That's not too bad. I have a W550i and I have a hundred songs stored (encoded at 64 KBPS). The sound quality just rocks. However, it's priced at Rs. 12,200 (best buy price). And the firmware is buggy. The camera also pretty much sucks in dim light and indoors. The positives are far more than the drawbacks though. It does the main task it was assigned (that of playing music and sending/receiving calls and SMS) like no other phone can. The battery life is also awesome. The interface is also brilliant (courtesy Sony Ericsson).

N6630 wud easily fit into ur budget, but it has become TOO common. U cud extend ur budget a wee bit more and go gor N6630 or SE w550i. I don't suggest N-Gage as it doesn't have a camera.

As for k750i, its completely out of ur budget. It costs 16k in Sony World in Park Street, Kolkata.

You can either buy 6600 or better still 6630. 6630 is a damn good phone. You will never regret buying it even if you spend some extra cash. 6600 is also a good choice keeping in mind that you don't mind removing of the battery every-time you have to change the memory card. And no, Sony Ericsson phones are not fragile. I had my k500i dropped many times but it didn't break or stop functioning. I also came to know that Sony-Ericsson K750i is being sold at around Rs. 13K. If you probably wait a little and hunt for the best deal, you can get this great phone. Last time I enquired here [Varanasi], 6630 was retiling at around Rs. 11,990 but that was 2-3 months back. The price should have dropped by now.

Ya don't go for LG.. its very very very very bad phone.. I used to face a lots of trouble when i had one. Now I'm using a NOkia cell 6610i. 6600 is fine but its MP3 quality is not good enough.. For better performance opt Ngage QD. Its performance is very good.
