Best Mobile within 15k-20k Range

Suggestions invited from everyone. I have raised my budget this time for my new mobile.

Specifications needed:

1. Atleast 1.3MP Camera with video recording.
2. MP3, audio, video playback support.
3. Truetones, MP3 Tones, Polyphonic
4. Downloadable games
5. Wallpapers, themes, screensavers customisation
6. Preferably 5way joystick control, or 5 way navigation buttons.
7. Good internal momory (maybe 32mb), and free MMC (min. 64mb)
8. Infrared, bluetooth support and even better if USB too.
9. GPRS/ EDGE support.
10. FM Radio
11. Standard features like calculator, etc. If possible a calculator with metric conversion support.
12. Prefeably conventional designs.
13. Preferably Symbian OS as I have collected over 2gbs of Symbian stuffs.
14. Voice recording support too.
15. If possible MMC hot swap facility.

Brands preffered:
Nokia
Sony Ericsson

Sets in my mind:
Nokia - 3230, 3250, 6680, 6681 [Maybe - 6600, 6630]
SE - K750i, W800i

Right now, I am thinking to go for 3230, but, what do the experts here say?? Also, please tell me if the applications and games of 6600/ ngage would work on 3230 too?

I buy W800i recently..
Best Phone for music lovers(like me).
And its headphone(phontopia) is the best i ever tried.

I prefer w800i over k750i.

W550i is also good one.

W810i is new relese of Walkman, good color(black and orange).

Try the K750i if u can live without the Symbian OS . It has almost all the features you want except EDGE (even W800i hasn't got it) . Moreover it suits your budget.

If you wanna go for a Nokia cell , try the 6681 , its form factor is better than the 3230 ; its got a better display and a bigger card .

As for the aplications some applications might work while others might not . :roll:

Go for Nokia N70 if u can afford else w800i from SE is the best bet

well how abt nokia 6270? has most of the features and included a 512 mb mini sd card at around 17k sound is equal to k750i plus stereo widening so rox man

Yes, I could have but, the prices and technology aren't constant so, I thought to start a new thread. And, the thing I have observed in forums with strict rules people just saying you could have searched first, etc.

Now after reading these type of posts I have got my brain's hdd labeled - search before you post. But, for few kind of posts new thread posting is better. And if everybody starts saying - search before you post, search in google for this, etc. this message board will be full of this. If anyone can't help it out, rather click on the red X on the right upper corner of your screen and use your brain and typing skills to help in what you know. I think this is just way to increase your post count, which is of no yield.

Anybody, please don't is as elseway, just as suggestion to make this place clean with every post valuable to everyone.

Back to the topic, thanks for your suggestons everyone but, I think I have to settle at around 15-16K I think I will opt for 3230 only. Maybe after few months or a year I would upgrade to n series. Any otehr suggestions, well invited.

SE K750i wud be best in that category.
At 17k its the best option though no EDGE.

i own k750i,its got evrything n upto the best.but no edge support.costs around 17.5k
but u can also go 4 se k600i.its functionalities r same as k750i,but no xpandable memory.sound n picture quality is reduced.but has got EDGE support
the best catch is it comes at 13k.

But as for your all needs .. 3250 .. comes at first position ..
I havent seen the phone as yet .. but as for the specifications .. it appear to be excellent phone.

Since this thread is bit old, but still I would prefer Nokia 6270 or SE W800i for today.

hmm... yeah 6270 seems good. But, the cons is no symbian (not listed in any site). Can anybody confirm this?? or, any bosy using this set?

yes nokia 6270 has no symbain os it is bases in nokia's 40 platform... i heard that nokia has dumped symbian technology because of various complications arisin ...is it turue or not i dunno but i herad it does anyone knoe\w bout it please let me know.... i think SE k750i would be ideal choice for a mobile under 20k... it is very good at sound dispaly and cmaera but only it is not a symbian phone if that is not abig thing for u u should definately go for it

but If hes looking 4 a symbian then forget SE.....only SE P910 has Symbian and SE P990,SE W950 will hv Symbian(still to be released).
And P910 is outta ur range.costs around 22k
