Is Karbonn A15 worth buying?

So I'm thinking of getting my sister a Karbonn A15. Is it worth buying? Has anyone used it here? Any kind of feedback would be really appreciated.

From what I have heard.. Both are somewhat equal.. But I would prefer Micromax anyday.. 4-5 friends of mine are using Micromax..

also you missed one thing, no GPS on Micromax.. Personally id go a bit higher and buy A110.. No 3G is a fail

6.5k max. Yeah, the A110 is a good buy for a bit higher price, but it's ppi is really low. Is there a similarly specced phone with ~4 inch screen? No 3g nowadays is a joke, the Mmx A68 loses out for that. And no GPS? Seriously, what were Mmx thinking?

3G still cost 2-5 times as much as 2G so A68 is aimed at those who use only 2G.

check Lava XOLO A700. Highest ppi under 10k.

fone is good.. but The battery life is very poor and the charging to 100% takes a very long time!

Large Screen with excellent resolution.
Excellent white back cover
3G & WiFi Hotspot options..

Cons..
Poor RAM,
Camera is only 2 MP
Battery life is not good

So, what do you guys think? Should I go for the A15? Anyone know how the after sales service of Karbonn in Kolkata is, or is Mmx better? (And I'm def gonna need good after sales service if my experience with the Mmx A60 (loved it while it worked- the only indian droid to have quite decent dev support) is anything to go by.)

Ebay has some good CDMA phones for you to buy if you are on a tight budget. Problem is you will have to port your number to Reliance CDMA.
