Xperia Pro ---> slideout keyboard.
Xperia Arc S ---> big screen.

i doubt your friend's mom will brag that her mobile have dual core or it can be overclocked or other things like that. Style matters here.

3.8" (desire S) will be a huge upgrade from a 3.2" (LWW) screen. specially in Android. currently i own a 3.2" Android and i feel crippled at times cause of the screen size. specially when browsing. 3.8" should be the way to go unless you have problem with the size of the mobile.

hey, if you are planning to buy online, then just check prices at sur sansar before purchasing as the prices there are generally cheaper !!! i suggest sensation as im also planning to go with it

Defy+ if you are ok with Android 2.3 (you can always try custom roms).

From where did you got these price quotes as they are even less than the online prices.I should say beautiful price or awesome deals.
Ray is not suggested just because of small size.
LWW is a good phone but screen size matters a lot.
And if you want to enjoy android get as much as big you can get.
I would suggest you to pick One V over Desire S.
If you are strict with the budget then get Desire S.
Neo V is also good just the build quality is not that good, I suggest you to get hands on both One V and Neo V before you buy and then decide on your own, I m sure you gonna like One V.
And have you enquired about the street price of Incredible S?

Optimus Black is discontinued a long time back.
Huawei!!! are you serious bro. Well I doubt it.
xperia Pro should be only bought if a qwerty keypad is must otherwise I suggest stay away from it as these external keypads give problem after sometime like after 1-2yrs, so if you can't run the same phone for a long time

Sensation for 21-22k is the best pick considering the price.
Some guys say Atrix 2 is also good, but I haven't got hands on this device so can't comment on it also.
But remember one thing Motorola is vanishing from the market specially India,they have shutted down many service centers also and you won't find a moto store anyware, so I guess its better you avoid it

Desire S is the one you should opt for among two

And apart from that Xperia U is coming in mid may and will be priced for 16-17k, considering that it is dual core it is also a good option.

recently some benchmark was posted in Anandtech i guess of U8500 vs Exynos 4210. the U8500 trailed the Exynos chip as expected but packs the same GPU but at lower clock. so basically both should be same.

Both has some pros and cons.
I said so because:
One V comes with ICS so it will surely receive atleast one update where Desire S ICS is yet to come and I don't HTC will give another update for it afterwards.
And One V has also got a Wi-Fi direct feature which is not there is Desire S.
One V has got better internal memory.
It comes with Sense UI 4.0
It has bluetooth V 4.0 vs 2.1 in Desire S.
It is lil bit lighter and some people likes it look more than Desire S, I personally feel both are good.
And one more imp thing is Desire S comes with beats audio

On the other hand Desire S has a front camera which is not there in One V, but very less people require it.
And i hope when Desire S wil get the official ICS update it will also get Sense UI 4.0, but I m not sure.

For people with a budget of 15-16k, its a very good option considering that it has got a dual core processor.
Now I think the sales of Neo V, desire S and One V will decrease.
