Default Buying wows .. BT Dongle & Card-Reader..??

I need your view regarding buying MMC & BT Dongle or Card Reader (Specially 6630)

I was in market with my friend few days back, we were looking for 512MB Card for his Nokia-6670
after looking at various shops .. we saw that
It was mainly NCP ..
NCP RS-MMC made in singapore, & made in korea, 512MB was for Rs.1600 or something
Card reader - Rs.500 almost the same models, BT Dongle - Rs.500

At Nokia priority shop, We saw Samsung ... 512MB RS-MMC was for Rs.1500
They said 'SAMSUNG is fast .. and it was samsung eariler ..
NCP came late in the market ..
samsung is the one which is better'.

They were not ready to raise any bill for that
but he said if there is any problem arises they will replace the
card in 1-2month or so ... he did sign on the card with marker
That certainly a grey market stock that was why he was not giving any
written comitment i.e. bill or something

We couldnot decide
As on the computers parts, we dont have so much trust left for Samsung as all cd-drives have the tray problem
...ok coming back to topic

Then they were ready to give Bill for MICROSIM brand for Rs.2100 + 4% VAT ...... But that looked expensive

In the evening we went again and
We inquired for TRANSCEND & KINGSTON but it was not available
But we know that it can be purchased from NehruPlace .. for Rs.2400
but myfriend didnt wait ... comes back with Samsung 512MB +
Card reader(19 in 1) + BT dongle/adapter (Small transpatent) for Rs.2300

Now, Please tell me about this ..
And I know it will be DV RS-MMC for 6630 .. which will rather expensive

Guys Does the Co. matter in case of Memory Card?
or All are the same from china ... and just the different label - NCP/Samsung

And does the expensive ones like KINGSTON or TRANSCEND are worth??
Does 10 or 100 meters BT better?

So that I will get better deals next time for my 6630!

Ok

Now in detials

Nokia 6630 works on DVRSMMC .. so u will have to buy DVRSMMC and not simple RSMMC

I use NCP for a long time now and never had a problem..
256 MB should cost u 1400 i guess

Now for the card reader part.. there are many cheap solutions available like ENTER brand which is credit card size and is 19-in-1 reader.. hardly 400 bucks

microsim is good too..

for dongle most of the transparent ones use bluesoil drivers.. do not buy those.. but the ones which use microsoft or widcomm drivers.. they are more compatible with more softwares..

U normaly will not get bill with NCP.. basically they are like ram and hardly ever heard that they got spoilet.. they just sign behind and give it..

I know of much better internatiional brands like delkin but then again they will be more expensive..

Bluetooth i use billionton which is excellent and 100 meters is for 1000 bucks.. uses widcomm drivers and very easy to use..

So basically 256 MB DVRSMMC NCP + 19-in-1 Card Reader + 100 M Billionton Bluetooth = Rs. 2800 approx

I would suggest u to keep both card reader and bluetooth.. simply because whn u wanna transfer many MP3 then bluetooth will take a hell of a time.. card reader will make it simple..

And whn u wanna install small SIS files then bluetooth works like a gem..

hope this answers all ur queries..

no need to buy BT (if u want to then go for 100 meters) B'coz card reader is the fastest medium for data transfer from ur PC to MMC or vice versa. So a card reader alone is enough for u to install apps on your 6630. And one more good NEWS for you is the ETI company has launched ETI camcorder 2 which has capability of recording QVGA videos i.e it records videos in AVI format and u can easily play it on ur PC or u can burn it on a VCD. So ETI camcorder makes ur 6630 --> N90.. no more waiting for N90 now. Go for SAMSUNG DV-RS-MMC if its available at ur location and 1500 for 512 DV-RS-MMC is nothing.

>Is the Samsung available in the market is the real samsung product .. I doubt that

Since, a known shop owner told me that all

NCP, Samsung are same .. all are fake .. made in china
they just have different stickers on them

>He told me that you can buy them bcoz they are cheap .. but
never do a format .. if you u do the card will be destroyed

and about the BT
I bought one for 450 .. its in blue colour with little transparent plastic cover
It was not installing unless i install its setup
i mean it was not takin microsoft driver
so, i have send that back for replacement
as it was not workin with Nokia-PC Suite
So, BT Dongle the one which uses WinXP Driver is good
But isnt there is any specific brand

I have been using NCP 256 for the past 11 months... no probs till now.
Most of the people i know have NCP mmc. Never seen a Samsung MMC.

Yeah also a card reader would be faster but u wont be able to sync ur phone
with the pc if thats what u want.

I have used 3 brands of bluetooth. Ziga, Belkin and Brillionton. While both ziga and belkin worked with MS drivers, I had mixed experiance with Brillionton. The one I got first as sample was working with MS drivers but when we ordered 6 others, all of them (same model no, same cost and same looks/size) needed bluesoil drivers.

I would suggest for Ziga/Belkin but I have no idea about the cost.
