Help needed for buying a nokia mobile under 16k..

hello guys......i want to buy a new phone...preferably nokia coz i want a symbian phone...
confused between 5800 nd n79....more options r most welcome....dis forum helped me select my last phone which was a nokia 6630 nd i was fully satisfied with it......
Requirements:
Symbian(fast processing speed)
Good camera
WiFi
adequate sound
besides d normal features..
My budgeti is around 15k.....but dat can be a bit flexible if price comes bw a good phone...
M counting on u guys to help me find a new phone....

5530 will not have wifi I think it will have gps.Contrary, 5230 will have wifi no GPS.
I am too going to buy a cell phone budget 15k.
Should I go for 5530 XM guys? Or any other models worth considering/

good music + good screen + touchscreen + wifi =5800
good music + good camera + very good battery life + wifi + solid build quality = zn5
good music + good camera + wifi + gps + plenty of apps = n82

i think you should chose between these 3. n82 and n79 are similar except camera in n82 is better. n82 is an excellent all rounder.
Otherwise go for zn5. it is cheaper than the rest. but the sound quality, camera and battery life is awesome. also the build quality is great. very strong.

I bought N82 for 14k, and very happy with it except for the battery backup.
You can get it for even less, just search for the left over pieces in the market, as Nokia has stopped this model.

if you can wait then get the 5530 as you can save some bucks....

but if you use a lot of symbian apps that are not yet compatible with S60v5 and give more importance to camera than watching videos, then N79

Take 5800 If you want larger screen,resolution and touch experience.
Take N79 if you want better camera and feature rich phone.
If you are planning to use the phone for 2-3 yrs N79 would be better.i remember on friend mentioning 5800 had fallen from his hand it started giving touch screen problems.
You decide what you want,if you want to use for fun 5800 is way to go.
N79-better camera + battery all other features same as 5800 minus touch + larger screen

guys, seriously.

Just demo samsung jet and 5800XM at same time and you will feel that 5800XM is highly inferior to samsung jet.

PS: I never felt that 5800XM is worth that price.

Once you get addicted to symbian its hard to settle with dumbphone like jet.

Anyway , i dont think 5800 is good for you since its camera is not upto the mark .

N79 is better as you need good cam. Its a great vfm device . Hard to believe this little device is so powerful.

i cannot go without d symbian as i use so many apps nd want to use it as a pocket pc.....
nd m not a fan of samsung phones so definitely not samsung.......
nd m not a fan of touch screen either nd moreover 3.15 mp camers is a bit less for me...

so in nokia its only n79 dat fits my bill........i guess........

Ok, another thing...I am planning for Omnia HD. And this is what Samsung Dealer at Noida quoted, when i visited the showroom:
"Samsung Jet and I8910HD are the latest arrivals. Both are Korean manufactured. But Indian versions of Jet and I8910 packs more powerful processor than European models.
Samsung Jet packs 835MHz processor instead of typical 800Mhz and I8910HD packs a 1GHz one."

I practically fiddled with this gadget for more than 30 minutes. From Camera/Camcorder to Functionality, i was impressed. Its just, why Samsung decided to launch it with Symbian? A Win-Mo OS on this set would've been perfect. Not to mention the excellent 3.7" AMOLED screen. Too good for watching videos. The only thing, they didn't allow me was to check the Call quality!
I believe, this is where the set will take some blows. Can't compare with Call quality of Nokia/SE!
So, whats your take on I8910HD?

It's funny coz nokia 5530 Expected Price:Rs.14000 and Nokia 5230 Expected Price:Rs.10000.

I really don't understand the reason behind the cost as the Nokia 5530 @ 14k even though 5800 cost 13.5k...

Omnia HD is best VFM in big league @ 28k with ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics(@400mhz)

5800 is VFM in medium price band @ 13.6k

Looks like Nokia is going to clean up the stock and stop production of 5800XM. go for it ASAP if you are getting it for 14k bucks.

Nokia has not yet released 5530XM into the market. And by the looks of it, 5530XM is going to take over 5800XM's role. Reason is that Nokia will get more profit by selling one piece of 5530XM than over 5800XM.
