please suggest SE phone in 5k range

inspite being a sony fanboy(self declared) i would like to agree wid what akshay said,,,coz though w205 and w395 are in those range,they being licensed sagem devices and sagem platform,,cannot be modded(though u will get walkman 2.0),but whats the fun of sony ericsson without modding it,
if u do not care bout bluetooth,u can try out w200,,though archaic now,,but it still has its charm,and good sound too,,and is fairlymoddable(atleast u can mod acoustics and flash menus,though for the cam,the least said,the better)

and for Akshay,dude can u help me out to find a complete new fascia 9 keypad set for my C510,coz i have the silver one and is a bit worn out,,would like to have the complete balck one,,BUT ebay seems to have none,,also our local sony service centre

seriously, i too have no idea where to get. i usually ask in sony service center or some shops near by. try in SP Road in bangalore.

i tired a lot to get W610i cover a lot every where, but did not find till end. damn.

^ hey akshay, u still looking to change ur k550 to w610 (the panel, i'm sure u wud have flashed it as soon as u bought it) ... i tried a lot ... sp road didnt hvae it ... finally gave up cos my port got screwed ....

My friend got himself w395 walkman phone and the worst thing is that it cannot play mp3 files above 128kbps , otherwise it was fine but i did not check it throughly .

bro 128 is good enough. If you need to play 256 then go for PMP and a very good head phone. otherwise 128 is good enough for music phone. I think w395 has a good design. Software wise all the SE phones are same. OTher wise go for nokia 5130. All the reviews are excellent.

Thanks for telling me, I also tried, I knew one 1shop in jaynagar where it was available for 700 Rs, but I did not take it.
yeah i still would like a change for good, its been 2 years of the same phone.

True 128 is good but see if we have 320kbps songs then it will be needed to convert into 128kbps. Also IMO it is ridiculous that it cannot play 320 kbps songs. I mean, i own a w800i bought 3.5 years back and that too plays 320kbps VBR/CBR songs perfectly and do sound really good in that .
