Default Horrors of BSNL's Bills... Overbilled :(

i have just checked my bill online and it is, to say the least, absurd.. they have charged way beyond what should have been charged. shall be going to their office day after tomorrow. either they fix up the bill or i go to the consumers forum. i have got the screen-shots of each and every page... here are the details.. i leave the calculation to you...

1090330 chargeable data flow in kb (normal hours) which after deduction of the 1gb free usage should be charged rs.82 @ rs.2 per mb (as per their old rates which was changed mid-way through the month)

the free usage is = 1842803kb (even if this is charged for, the amount should be rs.3600)

total of the two is rs.3682

they have billed me rs.3109 (for data).. any explanations anybody?

seems like `bsnl' has bit more than they could.. am going to sue them for mental torture (wicked grin)

am sure that in the coming days, this topic is going to see a lot of pages. guess we should join hands and fight.

thanks.. i'd rather you'd sympathise with my friend who (hold your breath) has received a bill for rs.48,000 (yep that's forty-eight k). let's see what the future holds for us

at least in chennai you guys have got `airtell' over here we just got `vsnl' who are bigger suckers. sigh!

Hmm.. @pupudada...

In BSNL we may never have to go to AIRTEL etc... Coz BSNL is better than any private party...

As I mentioned in the other thread, which u know...

aarghhhh contradictions.. i know `bsnl' is giving the best service.. apart from that they are crap.. billing, customer service and what not. their web site, everything except the quality of their connection is crap
