Internal ADSL Modem

Is anyone using akeeo adsl pci modem? I bought one but it is not working. It installed correctly but when tried to connect it says phone line disconnected. Help appreciated.

Make sure that the "link" light is glowing not blinking.
It may be difective. Try it at a different PC if possible.

I purchased the internal modem from ebay. So there is a satisfaction guarantee. Now i bought a belkin modem cum router. At first it didn't work. Contacted the bsnl exchange and after a few hours they said it may be a problem with NIB at kochi. Any way a few hours later the net connection established successfully. Now i wonder whether the internal modem was really faulty?
