dont believe the shopkeepers blindly, its not that much of a problem, you can use the motherboard without the i/o panel too, if need be.

@varun, When funskar is ready to pay 200rs then whats the problem, i know it feels bad to be insulted but in online deals you will have to have a great deal of patience to end a deal happily.
As you said the panel is available for 50rs buy it and courier via sppedpost or first flight, no need to use blue dart, the matter will be solved in less than 150rs.

1. I dont have a spare panel & I am in office. Infact I will have to search for it & I am least bit inclined to search for such a polite person who has flowered me so much. Its a natural human tendency to show sympathy to someone who is in trouble but one has to look at the other side of the coin as well.

2. If anyone else can help him out then be my guest. Good luck to the buyer.

HAHA....I still remember when I said that 99% I am sure that I have put everything. I never told you I forgot. You continue to amaze & entertain me with your imaginative thoughts. All I said was if you cant arrange it on your end I would help you get a new one & then I told you I would ship a new one either on saturday or tomorrow.

Seriously dude start applying your brain to solve your problem instead of typing crap here.

Until you both cool off, this thread remains locked.

@varunb, One thing you didn't post the pics of any of the accessories, and did not even mention the I/O shield in your original selling thread. You are supposed to post pics of EVERY accessory you sell. Secondly are you 99% sure or 100% sure that you shipped the I/O plate? If it's the former (as you told him on phone) then it's your responsibility to ship him that since you yourself aren't 100% sure. And yeah if he is willing to cough up for the I/O shield, then do send it to him in spite of the fact he has been abusive or lying as you claim, you made the deal with him after all.

@funskar, When you bought the motherboard why didn't you check out the listing of I/O shield in the original thread? You should have also insisted for pics of every accessory before coughing out for the deal.
Secondly you should mind your language and should never post personal details in public. That's an infraction worthy behaviour no matter what the case. You can PM those stuff to any of the forum staff, if needed. Your behaviour hasn't helped you one bit, in fact it had made the case worse for you.

Also the forum cannot do anything here really. It's only a communication medium. There's not enough evidence to take sides or action against any of the members, and nothing can be done. Keep your discussions through phone, e-mail, etc. The forum isn't eBay and is just a communication medium.

All that over an I/O Panel? Who needs that anyway? Just attach the mobo without it, what's the big deal?

If you're paranoid about dust, I/O panels are useless anyway... better way to do it is take one of those plastic covers that HDDs come in, stick that to the back of the cabinet, and only cut out the holes for the ports you use... Then use the Rs 200 you're willing to pay for ice cream to help you chill.

Also, I must say, varunb, either you have access to way too many I/O ports for your own good, or you've forgotten to send that bit across and are too pissed about his childish behaviour to accept that fact... Something tells me it's the latter, since you were so ready to "find a replacement" and send it across...

Thread opened again... but try not to get heated up, and either one of you should give in or come up with an amiable compromise. ico, please ban/delete the account of the first person to lose his cool on this thread henceforth.

Live and let live... reminds me of a rather old (and bigoted) quote:

Arguing on the internet is like taking part in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded!

(My apologies to the mentally challenged everywhere... I did not come up with that quote, I'm just repeating it for effect)

That 1% doubt out of 99 was created by his intense way of talking while I was driving but I cleared all my doubts when I reached home. Its natural to think that "Did I forget..no ways....I must check it out asap"

There are few computer shops nearby my office & I am sure that there are compatible panels. So indirectly you can say I have access to computer peripherals.

Anyways thnx guys for closing the case. I am retiring from this thread.

Digit is in no way responsible for Bazaar deals. Your problem has more to do with you being careless than anything else. You should have asked for pictures of all accessories, then you would have proof. You can be off if you wish. Blaming a website for a private dispute is not the wisest thing to do.

Closing thread.
