Suggest good 5.1 Speakers for PC

Ppl,

Suggest me a good 5.1 speaker set I do a lot of movie watching and listening songs apart from my work.
Creative SBS available for 2800/- I saw tht on Deltapage.com Also ther are offerings from Altec Lansing, Tell me abt other options,

Also is there any diffrence in sound quality output from a intel 845 mobo(onboard realtek) and intel 915 chipset in 5.1 mode for Audio..?

Suggestions ppl!

What is your budget for the speakers.

For good quality sound.. invest in a separate sound card...its much better than the onboard. At the very basic creative sound blaster Live! 5.1 which is very cheap now.

In ur budget..creative 5.1 inspire will fit better.

Else give a try to logitech.They have superb sound quality.

Well...for your bugdet you could go for Altec Lansing 251 5.1 speakers. whic would cost you around approx. 3.5k ... but if you if you can extend your budget by 1-1.5k get the Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker set (5-5.5k).

As for my case.... i'm using intex 3000w 4.1 (not pathetic) soon to be replaced with Logitech Z-5300 5.1 THX spearkers

..the only problem is I cannot find any dealear who sells this in delhi....

Seems quite Decent.Though It doesn't have remote and DTS decoder amplifier(Just an Inbuilt amplifier in speaker, Not like Inspire series which has a separate DTS dolby decoder amplifier unit).

Also is this available in Market and its price.

@baccilus: Altec Lansing 251 is obsolete and out of Market... See Altec lansing official site.

^^ Dont care abt obselete crap. Even ATP3 is obselete but is the best 2.1 in its range.

Altec 251 at 3.6 K is a good buy!
