suggest a good 2.1 stereo speakers

i am a music lover.Now i am interested in buyin a good 2.1 speakers. the speakers should hav a good performance,it shouldn't produce the echo effect. i hav tested mercury 2.1(980 Watts).it produces unnecessary echoes,thereby decresin the songs originality.my budget is around 2500.please suggest me a good speaker system.

check out these three 2.1 speaker sets:
1.Altec Lansing ATP3(2.7k)
2.Artis S700(2.3k)
3.Creative Inspire2500(2k)

2500 is a good amount for 2.1 spkrs...
you can go for altec lansing ..or creative accorndin to your..choice..
some of the good available..models..are..as follows :
Altec Lansing :
FX 6021 (great...looks...and great sound too..not sure about price )
121i ...(dnt have much info about it )

Creative :
SBS 370/380...(not ..tht good in my opinion )
SBS 390...
Inspire 2500 (good set of speakers ..u can think about it )
there are others..also ..but i think these models are not under u r budget..-
I-Trigue L 3800
I-Trigue 3600

Creative Inspire 2500 anyday ... good reproduction of bass and treble ...

Creative Inspire 2500 will be ideal in this budget. The bass and treble levels are also good. Really worth buying to enjoy music.

i was asking this question last month. you can check my posts

i had various opinion on the speakers finally i trusted my instinct and opted

to try logitech x-230.

since i am living in small town i dont have privilege of testing them first.

so i prayed and gave direct order of speakers.

And i cant simply describe the performance of x-230.

Its simply amazing ( i had previously s-700 artis). the bass rocks. listen to

hindi song (AAp ki Khatir- I Love You for what you are!!). The bass is really

tight and fair bit of thump.

Atleast i dont think you can expect this type of performance in other sub 3.5K speakers.

And tomshardware tested this speakers to upto 106 SPL and they stood firm

with uniform result in whole wavelength.

My suggestion is please listen to x-230 once before spending your hard earned money!!

go for logitech x - 230 made a lot of research on this speaker its best in ur budget

ya,the logitech X230 costs around 3.5k.
for ur budget,one of the 3 speaker sets i suggested would be your best bet.

Finally got Altec Lansing ATP3 for Rs. 2530/- from NP, Delhi
Awesome sound and value for money...

Creative Inspire AFAIK is crap.

get ATP3 and pair it with a good sound card.

creative loses even to ordinary altec from what I know and atp3 is above the normal range

X230 really rocks...it has noedimuim spkr drives for rich treble nd gud bass too..And it awesome in looks too...The sound quality is excellent nd the power is too gud for a spkr at that range.
