if you have 20k and the main reason is to play Virtua Tennis 3, go for PS3 or PS2 :)
PS3: 23k approx
xbox 360 core console: 13k
xbox 360 wireless : 20k
PC config:
1) Phenom X3 for 5k
2) Gigabyte 780G 5k
3) 2Gb kingston ram 2k
4) Sony/samsung dvd writer 1.3k
5) If you can extend your budget a little, get ATI HD4850 for 10k.

You only wanna play Virtua Tennis 3 ?
Get X360, you will gt to play VT3 plus you will get a new-gen console too.
But if you want to stick to PC then--->>
E7200+XFX 630i+2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM+Mercury 8600GT 256MB GDDR3+LiteOn LH20A1P
OR
AMD Phenom X3+Gigabyte 780G+^^same. (this will cost more but will give you more performance too).

Don't understand why the crappy Mercury products are referred when just for 500 more bucks you get quality cards from evga and msi.
Mercury sucks to the core and is the worst electronics manufacturer.

^^I was just giving him a budget config.
He can always opt for the MSI N8600GT 256MB GDDR3
Better would be Palit 9600GSO 384MB GDDR3 but I think it will exceed his budget :|.

What will you do with 1GB memory ??? Atleast go for 2GB now.
Anyways, price with 1GB will be 16k
and price with 2GB will be around 16.8k

finally convinced my parents to buy me this config.............processor:E7200+mobo:XFX 630i+RAM:2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM+Card:GeForce8800GT 256MB+ drive: Sony DVD/RW or R drive.
Few questions though.....
What brand is the XFX 630i mobo
The current config costs 16.8 k
how much will it cost if i put in a Nvidia GeForce 9600GT instead
Will the above config need a seperate cooling system(with 8800 and 9600) or will a standard SMPS do.
Psychosocial

It wont need a separate cooling unless you plan to monster OC. I suggest you go for a HD4850 512MB GDDR3 for 9500/-.
XFX 630i is based on NVIDIA 7050 IGP mobo.

Better get a Palit HD 4850 for 9.8k for uber cool performance than the old nvidia 8800(though it's also gUd).....

Dude thats a stone age superstition.....get out of it!!
HD4850 blasts away all the GPU in its range and even in the higher price arenas!!
E7200 - 5.2k
XFX 630i - 3.2k
2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM - 1.5k
HD4850 - 9.5k
