TV Tuner Card REMOTE Problem..Urgent help required

Hi,

I have got one frontech internal TV tuner card.
I connected it to PCI 2, and installed the driver and the application(TV Plus) to operate it.

Problem is, when I am trying to use the remote control (e.g. power button, channel shift), remote is not working at all.:(

Also can anyone distinguish between the composite mode and cable mode?:confused:

also after connecting the cable line, most of the channels are flickering.:confused:

Please suggest..:confused:

Errr.. something very basic.. Have you checked whether the batteries in the remote need replacement..?

Actually I haven't checked that because it is a new one supplied with the tv tuner card itself.
I'll check that and let u know then...

If still it is not working then i know the reason. It needed a remote patch. I am also using the same model tv tuner. After installing the remote patch (size only few KB ) , it start working.

While H/W or S/W failure can not be ruled out, the flicker could simply be due to need of fine tuning. Do check the application and look for fine tuning settings.

Hi Vikas,

I had gone through the read me and followed the steps.
1. First ran the unremote.exe
2. then re booted the PC
3. then ran remotemap.exe


But the remote didn't respond. I used two new batteries, just in case.
Any other method of applying the patch??

Please suggest.

can u tell what the program actually do unremote.exe and remotemap.exe??

Check your mail, But gmail don't allowed exe, so i am sending you in zipped format.. just remove extra words from extension (ped)
