Control ink usage in inkjet printers

I have a hp c5183 allin one printer.. is there any software by which we can control or limit the ink usage so that the catridge and be used longer.....

I know about inksaver software butis there any other software available for the same purpose

go to control panel->printers and faxes->right click on your printer->properties

There is a button next to print test page (I do not recall), click that- it will open the printer driver options for you from which you should be able to control the ink used by moving to economy mode

Usually all printer drivers have a quality setting. If it doesn't then I do not know of any other solution

quality setting is there in the driver..... but it does not seem to lower the ink usage
