Has anyone used USB to SATA converters??
My questions is whether it works properly without giving any errors???

Also how do u protect the exposed harddisk from physical damage???

Ha ha, nope but I've used IDE TO USB Converter, but it gave me problems with the pins as the converter was of poor quality, but I suggest you, If you use your Hard Disk like a "pen Drive" then consider using E-SATA one

cheap external kits damage ur hdd ..... get a good 1 ......

could you elaborate please?? by e-sata do u mean firewire??

couple of questions:
1>why is e-sata superior to usb?
2>how often does usage 'usb to sata' cause hard-disk failure?
