I have decided to upgrade to following rig-
Processor-C2D E7200
Motherboard-Gigabyte Eg31M-S2
RAM-Transcend 2GB 800
PSU-Cooler Masters 600W
But i cannot decide between the graphics card-
Zotac 9600GT
OR
Palit 9600GSO
these both are available for almost the same price (Rs.6500) point but can't decide which one to choose from.
Also is 6.5k the correct price for these cards or dealer is overcharging me?
Is Palit an reliable brand in terms of quality and after sales service?
I have read in this forum that Ati 3850 is available for 5.8K so what would be an better choice?
Please tell me the brand to go for an ati card if its better!

ZOTAC 9600GT > GSO in performance
company support - Palit being an old company has better support than Zotac but there's no prob getting a card.some guys i know got the 780i boards and are pretty happy

Just save some money and go for HD4850 its about rs 9500.
This is the best midrange graphic card available in market. Or if you can wait till deewali then the prices may come down by then.:D

Today i have ordered an Zotac 9600gt probably i will get it by tommrow.
As my budget is around 6-7K so i can't go in for an 4850 despite being an much better card its out of my budget.

well i have got an msi 9600gt and it performs well in all games excluding crysis,
i personally suggest that if u want a value for money card the zotac 9600gt is the way to go or otherwise if your pockets doesn't allow you you can go for a 9600gso.
btw congrats for ur new purchase.:p:D:D:D
