GOT STUCK IN ANY GAME???

If u have got stuck in any game and dunno how to progress write in here. Many a times the question remains unanswered due to the thread being sent to next page due to so many queries and new threads. Instead of starting new thread for such problems i thought of starting a common thread. So start posting ur problems and u shall find a solution. U can also tell forum in which game u have had problems and still u continued (obviously after getting the solution) and also which u left playing beacuse u could not get through. :twisted:

u all can also describe where u have go stuck so u can get a solution (if any body has played it), as i have never heard of Gabriel Knights, whats it abt and where didi u got stuck, also if u could get thru then please write in solution to help others. Its the level in which u haveto enter some villa/ bunglow and then go to basement anddown there in parking area where trucks r parked. HOw to kill the enemeies there as single mistake and u r blown.?:(

ur idea is great wiz, but if i get stuck in a game somewhere, i look for walkthroughs, it helps a lot, waiting to recieve a reply s**ks. U have to look at the amount of time spent. :)

hey guyz i am stuck in gta vice city with the god damn stupid chopper mission in which you have to plant 4 bombs to explode a building....... any workarounds ?? i played all the other missions and have reached a point where i have to complete this mission and then only i will be able to proceed further. guyz plz help. also any workarounds for a boat mission which you get after you buy the dockyard ? the one in which you have to collect packets in a certain time limit.... any cheats to make the boat indestructible or the time slow ??

that mission is tuff .. i got stuck on it for ages ..
the trick is to drive carefully and not blow urself up .. and how to drop the stuff from the copter that has to be carefuly done .. if sum1 shoots just run them over with the helicoper blades .. this helps in ur chopper not blowin up when u have to go back over and over ...

for the boat do the turns properly nice and slowly and u will finish it ...

hey mod if we were to search for our problems on net then y one would register in a forum. I think this gamerz forum was created to know each others problems and experiences while playing a game??? Make use of the Block button ( right click ) when she stops hitting you for a second hit her with sword and then use block again.

I got stuck in Devil May Cry 3 mission 9 where you have to fight Nevan. That was one tough boss. Took me at least 15 attempts to clear that stage.

Keep your distance and go in for a few slashes and then back away while blocking. An important thing to defeat her is this: every time the lady's health goes down by 20 or 25%, you and her will be locked sword-to-sword. That is, the camera shows you both close-up and from the side. At this time, keep pressing the left mouse repeatedly so that your sword moves towards her. If u are successful, she will stagger for some time and u can hit her a few more times before she blocks.
Another important thing to remember is to observe the lady's fight sequence. She follows only three styles. One particular thing is the one ending with both her swords in your stomach and pulled up. Avoid this particular move by just side-stepping and then hit her. She will be down before u know it. (actually she won't go down, but it will be a spoiler for u)

I am playing it inmy frenz pc.

In the part "Unforsen consequences", I came out of the lab opening the door by using a broken retinal scanner and got to the lift and came out of it. Then in that room I saw two creatues in a reactor kind of thing... after that there is a door which has broken glasses. It doesn;t get opened even if I use the retinal scanner. How can I open that door...somebody pls help.

I know, I am playing HL 1.0 very very late. but I am least interested in games....

I think u need to find a crowbar and duck and smash up the door's glass and then enter.
I found the crowbar but dunno where exactly, i think it was near the waking up of the alien scene.

but the door is b4 we find crowbar. Ok...I found it..

If v speak to the scientist, he will come and open the door. after that if we go straight, a lightning will shot from the testing chamber and we have to duck and go...

after killing all the guys theres a door at the corner of the hallway. if it doesnt open the game u started is bugged. start again and hopefully it will open at that time
