I am leaning towards getting a PC for my gaming needs instead of a console, although it is not yet final. Please suggest any changes to the following configuration. My budget is around 40k.
Motherboard - not decided yet! Please suggest.
RAM - 4 GB 800MHz transcend (2GB X 2 ~ Rs 3600)
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 2.66GHz (Rs 8500)
Graphics Card - The BIG thing! ATI Radeon GeCube HD4850 (Rs 12000). What would be a good one to buy? Any good card for around Rs 8000, in case I need to scale down my desires ;-)
HDD - thinking of buying 500 GB one from Seagate (or 320 GB if necessary). Suggestions?
Monitor - not sure but thinking of getting 17" or 19" LCD. Please suggest.
Power supply, Cabinet etc - not decided yet.
Fire away...PC games are much easier to get than the console ones.
