windows xp help needed

actually i have installed 2 copies of windows xp in my 'c' drive .
one of them is in installter mode i.e. windows starts it's installer.And another one is that which I use
Can any body tell how to to delete the above copy which is in installer mode.

Not clear........u can't install two copies in the same directory... if u r seing two windows xp when u r booting, delete the other one from the boot.ini file

go to system properties ->Advanced -> start up and recovery, settings -> edit start up file manually...

before editing, save a copy of the original file

no it is not in same directory
they are in different folders namely windows and windows.0 but they both are in C drive.
i want to delete windows copy of windows folder which is in installer mode.

I think he has re-installed XP but since /windows directory was already there , it installed in a mew /windows0 directory. I remeber this happening a long time ago myself.
