Linux kernel booted on Nintendo DS

"A breakthrough in the DS Linux project: developers have gotten the kernel booted on the Nintendo DS as well as a simple sash shell and some text games; input to the shell is done with the D-pad. The code is booted via modified firmware that should work with the PassMe, FlashMe and WifiMe boot methods, although not with the wireless multiboot method."

Awesome, since Nintendo was looking at turning the DS into a premium PDA for some people, there's nothing better than putting in the cute lil' pengiun in. Wonder if we will be able to see modded DS PDAs with Linux on them. That would be just sweet. Hoping some guy do something like this or at least an MCE-type program for the PSP.
