please be clear buddy.. i think u need some video converting software... use VirtualDubMod. it works on DVD formats apart from other formats like avi, mpeg, dat, etc

no i dnt want convrsion sftwre...i want to cut and edit the videos..!!

Hmm, i tried Alok video splitter and it can convert cand cut your videos too, but the process takes the same time as the length of the part you are cutting....find it in, well "GOOGLE"

ok... still my answer is the same. Use VirtualDubMod . there is an option of "SELECT RANGE" ... input time stamps of starting and ending of the clip u want and save it in a desired compressed avi format

You can use Ulead Video Studio for ur Video editing, it have a complete video editing features.
Or u can also use
Power Director, Avid Liquid :o

freeware like Alok video splitter, can do good 4 home use .......
