My system is infected with Trojan Horse Downloader. Istbar.5.K (svhost.exe). How does it get into my system. I never go to any crack site or p2pshare. What should I do to remove is from my system.

Download ToolBarCop (http://windowsxp.mvps.org/toolbarcop.htm) and post the log file or screenshot of it.

a-squared is a good trojan remover. but TDS-3 is said to be the best trojan remover. download it from this site : tds.diamondcs.com.au/

javacools spyware blaster wont remove any malaware. it only prevents its installation. but additionally install javacools spywareguard. it just stops malaware installation : http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html :)

but even bitdedender, avast, pest patrol remove a fair amount of trojans !
