View Full Version : Samsung cellfone Bought from Germany doesnot work...

Hi all,,,
recently one of my relatives gifted me a samsung SGH C-130 from germany...
when i tried it with my airtel card...it gives some kind of error..(invalid simcard...maybe)
is there any way i can use it here in india??
should i flash it with an indian firmware for the same model...plz help..

i thnk its a branded cell....ull hav to unlock/debrand it so as to use it with other networks

Ok...ill try flashing it with an indian firware..are there any basic steps for it...coz ive never flashed any cellphone with a firmware...is there any way i can get a firmware file for my cell on the net?

donno abt flashing....but i paid rs 350 to a local shop here in mumbai to gt it unlocked

even i tried,,,,i gave it to a samsung service centre but they told nothing can be done...
ill flash it with an indian firware..that must b the only way to make it work...

Just go to any local mobile shop and tell them you want to unlock, they will do that , charges may vary from Rs.200-400 , i unlocked my BenQ-Siemens A38 model for Rs.200.
