how to get n95 gps working

i got a second hand nokia n95 1 gb, how do i get the gps working(i m a complete noob in gps stuff), do i have to call my network provider(dolphin), any idea about the charges?

to use the GPS functionality u need to hav net activated on ur no.Nokia Maps app doesnt hav map for most of India,so u hafta use Google Maps,which uses GPS?EDGE to download maps of the area currently in.
The use of GPS itself is free,but u hafta pay for the data thats transfered in downloading maps.
