A regular clicking sound from a hard disk is very often a sign that it is failing or has developed a bad sector.

A loud continuous rattling sound (like krrrrrrrrr) usually comes from one of the fans. This may be because the blades are touching something (e.g. a wire), OR the bearing has worn out and the fan needs to be replaced out.

Try to describe exactly how the clicking sounds. One word of advice : do not move the CPU while it is turned on. The HD is particularly delicate in this respect. If you must move it, do so very slowly and gently.
