Hi I have a network at home which is presently ethernet but will be going wi-fi soon... it consists of a laptop running vista & a desktop running xp home... it is connected through a router through which I connect to BSNL dataone.The modem does have inbuilt pppoe dialling but I preefer to dial from the pc itself ad disconnet whn I please... my question is when auto dial in modem is on I can share the connection simultaneously on both pcs but when pppoe from pc is done I can connect only 1 at a time... how do I connect both by dialling from pc even when the other is connected ?I need to do this because I need the network on all the time but not the internet connection.
