USB not working...

hey guys...got a prob...i got a new copy of windows in my pc last week and didn`t install the usb drivers as i thought they`ll work with windows sp2..but now the usbs are not working and the message displayed when i run the motherboard cd is....install windows sp1 or later...now i m bit confused as can`t understand it is a hardware or software prob?...any suggestions guys..

I think there is a problem with ur new operating system.....Plzz try to install with different CD or just install windows sp 1 and check it;)

Which motherboard do you have ?
Post the exact brand & model name.
