Card Reader in Vista Not Working

[BSOD]

I bought a cheap card reader branded as ZIPPYS. It gives me I/O error on Vista but, runs perfectly on XP. Any ideas?

P.S. Maybe this will turn out to be software troubleshooting after all.

No one here who knows of a solution? :(
