DVD writer needed

Hey guys i have a HP DVD writer but i need another DVD writer which can handle a bit of heavy DVD writing ......like 5 to 10 DVDs within 2 hrs of time..........
My writer is fine with it but then sometimes it turns out a dvd with some error....may be one in 20 pieces......but still i guess i am better off with something more reliable.

Money no barrier but don go beyond 2.5K

^^ romeo, your dvd quality is also important! If you want the best writing experience get original media! And I heard pioneer is quite good, but please dont go for sony.

Better go for SONY...The only problem with this is it can't read the scratched cd/dvd's....Except that, it's really awesome...:p

^^ sony drives are not at all recommended. Trust me, I have one. If its a sony rebranded nec/optiarc drive, then you better hold on to your warranty tightly, if you know what I mean. I have already got it replaced once.

I found some samsung model on net.........some 22x one @ 1.2k........how is it?????? wil it serve my purpose?????

sir it is of no use. 16x is the dvd max. speed on dvd. there is not more than this so 16x is a good choice.

Hi never go for Liteon or sony drives. Go for Asus dvd writer. You can check prices at www.deltapage.com
