Please tell how can I switch from offline to online mode in Konqueror in OpenSuse 10.3 to surf the net. Unable to find any option. Offline browsing hasn't been enabled.
Also firefox always starts in offline mode. How can I change it?

In Firefox
1. Type about:config and press ENTER
2. In the filter type offline
If you see the first string as
browser.offline user set boolean true
3. Right click on that and click toggle to change it to
browser.offline user set boolean false
For Konqueror see click this setting

Already tried what you have told but of no use

What exactly did you do to "go offline" in both these browsers?

Nothing. I didn't changed any setting. I got this problem by default with a new OpenSuse 10.3 installation

Even in Hardy Heron and Kubuntu, all the browsers(Firefox, Epiphany, Konqueror) start if offline mode. While installing the distros, I didn't setup any network. Could this be the reason for all of them being offline by default?
