Cs, Half life 2 would work without a graphic card. Don't know about commandos 3.

Yeah I too don't think commandos3 may work with graphics card, he is goes more interested when I play in my system.

Try IGI 1 and even IGI 2.(These are military based games, your bro should like them)

Look for Pocket Tanks : A simple turn based strategy game, very addictive :D

its just cod2, not cod 4. And theres this game called Aquaria from bit-blot.com which I absolutely love. quake 4 and doom 3 without a graphics card??? are you sure buddy? and command and conquer 1-12 games dont need graphics card.

Yes,it works well even without graphics card.For half life 2 series,u may require a decent onboard(nvidia 6100 or higher preferably).

You CANT play Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory( SM 2.0) and Splinter Cell:Pandora tmrw(SM 1.1) on 845. my friend has tried it. Splinter Cell (1) can be played though...
