View Full Version : Problem with IndexSearcher in Vista

I m using Vista. i m facing problem with Vista's IndexSearcher.
it is not running. Due to some reason it get crash. i m attaching
its snapshot of details. Due to this system is slow. I tried for online
solution and update. but problem is still there..:(

It saying fault module mssrch.dll.......
I think by replacing this file with new one should work.
Can anyone give info about how to replace system file in vista.

Or how to solve this problem..
Any idea or suggestion are most welcome...

Cant see your image. Will try to check here again 2moro.

Try Rt click > properties > Previous Versions.

The said dll should be situated in the system32 folder, else it could be malware too. If it is the legit MS dll, the re-register this particular dll and see if it helps.
