No need to tell most common freeware like openoffice, irfanview, AudaCity etc etc..well I hv mentioned some most common freeware i.e. ccleaner, mozilla firefox, & avast but I noticed there are many threads in this forum which describes having problem in browser, system cleaner & virus, so I hv to include them...anyway if you find more like this I request you post them.
