I think all 1900XTX comes in 512Mb GDDR3 flavor only and 1950XTX comes with 512 GDDR4.

If only 8800 (gt,i presume) can beat this card, why are u planning on buying a 9600 gt?Hybrid SLI?DX 10.1?
Wont waiting for 9800 gt be a better choice, otherwise there wont be any performance increase, right?

BTW,is the card an agp (not,i presume since u r planning on 9600gt)?

9600GT is as powerful as 8800GT at lower resolutions and both beats 1900XTX hands down. 9600GT is a stripped down version of 8800Gt with half shader units but higher clocks, so still a DX 10 card, not 10.1

ur right not a 10.1 card, thought early previews claimed it to be a 10.1 card.BTW,I think even 3850 would beat 1900XTX.
