i have a presentation about the "future of computing" in my college. i got all the physical stuff covered (like dress, body language , tone , eye contact etc etc..
here are the topics i will cover in my 10-15 mins presentation..
1) Lisa : a short story about a girl who wakes up in a cold morning of 2050 . (life of the future)
2) very brief history of computers, then some present technology..
3) relating history to present and future. (how floppies gave way to cds and how cds gave way to blu ray and how holographic storage will kick in, how things kept getting smaller, why cant they get any better with current tech (moores law))
4) future technologies: technologies that will make the future possible. (nanotech , quantum computing , holography, AI , neural networks , networking, robotics , convergence etc)
5) Bad or good? : very brief.. willl just discuss will all this technology be useful to mankind or will it be a disaster.
i have a maximum of 15 mins.. can you tell me some points that are CRITICAL to the success of this presentation? like what things should i leave and what should i add?? any ideas about this presentation? is it a bad topic? thanks
