Adding cheats in the Half Life 2 Demo

How does one add cheats in HL2 demo. The consloe does not work i suppose.

Try this one:
Go to options menu.
Go to keyboard.
Then click on Advanced.
Then make sure the "Enable Developer console" box is checked.

hey Thanx dude. BTW that console too has been smartly engineered. Does anyone know in which programming language was HL2 made?

Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2003 v7.1. See the Source SDK and the VERC Collective for more details, including cross-compiling with VC++ 6.0 (although the .NET version is recommended)

Even better: setup the key binding from the config. Look for a file called config.cfg. It contains all the key bindings for the game. Just add the keys you prefer to the functions you want and no dev. console needed. Just press the keys you added in config.cfg in game, and the cheats will be executed.
