Need For Speed Mostwanted

Hi All,

Till these days i was able to install the game properly and play well.

Now when i had got NFS ProStreet installed in my PC, if i try to install mostwanted it says DirectX9.0c is not updated try updating before installing.

I tried uninstalling NFSPS, also downloaded the directx latest (Nov 2007) updates and installed.

Again when i try installing NFSMW same error i am getting.

1. Copy all the files from the DVD to you hard drive in one folder (for example NFSMW).

2. Open the \NFSMW\Autorun folder..and then open the file autorun.cfg with Notepad.

3. Look for the parameter DirectXVersion=9.0c and change the 9.0c to 0 and save the file.

4. Run the Setup from your hard drive folder and ENJOY!!

What about the game in Vista, when i install it in vista and run the game, it starts giving error.

thanks buddy, i did as u said and it worked fine. What about the game support for Windows Vista does it work in it. I could install the game in Vista but could not run the game.
