I desperately need an inverter only to run my PC.I have a Su-kam 800VA with one 150 AH Exide battery for the rest of my house. When i tried to run my PC on this inverter with just one fan running....my PC turned off suddenly AFTER 45 MINS, as i had made the connection without the UPS.Although Sukam has a dedicated UPS mode,it fails to run the inverter connected appliances even when the mains power supply is restored.
The Su-kam technician asked me to buy another 800VA inverter exclusively for my PC.Vendors here have recommended Hyundai 850VA intelligent digital sine wave inverter.I am not too sure whether it can run the PC without rebooting/restarting though it boasts of Digital Signal Processor based technology.Their website
also doesn't make it clear whether it can be used in place of my UPS for long duration backup.

Plz let me know what u think of this product or whether buying a new Su-kam inverter with 150AH Exide batteries will solve the problem .

My PC hardly consumes around 420 watts peak power after adding up everything & it comes down to abt 300- 320 watts operational .I have one 17" Samsung monitor,Dual core 2.8 Ghz Intel processor.I am currently using 800VA microtek UPS tht gives back up of aroung 15-20 mins but power outages here are around 6-8 hrs & sometimes more than 10-12 hrs.
Plz note i need the inverter simply to run my PC.I don't want to buy a 1400 VA inverter just for the PC.Plz help..
Many thanks...
