Am looking into attaching my dead laptop's dvd drive in my desktop.
and after a bit of googling I think I'll need to buy this adapter (http://www.8starshop.com/en/laptop-notebook-cddvd-rom-drive-to-desktop-ide-adapter.html)

Now if I look for such a adapter at nehru pace(delhi), I am sure I will only get a locally made one. But I am wary of purchasing such adapters after terrible experiences in the past.
Any idea if there exist any reliable company dealing in such adapters ?
Also how much should this cost?
