frames per second query.please post your suggestions.

hi friends.

well i have one problem.

i have tested my card on some games the maximum frames it gives in a game comes around 60-61.it dosent goes beyond that.
i have even tested on some graphically old games like mortal kombat4 cricket 2004 and 2005.

in cricket 2004 or 2005 on high settings with 2x AA.it gives 60 fps on 1024x768 resolutions.also
on same settings on 800x600 or 640x480 resolutions it gives same fps no change.:confused:
even on lowest settings it gives same fps.:confused:

is it something related to the refresh rate of the screen.well my refresh rate is 60hz.

and on the nvidia control panel i have seen many options.well what settings should me make on the control panel so that our card gives better performance.

try putting off vertical sync

thanks .well now the frames goes beyond 60 but it dosent remains constant is it ok.it goes from 60 to 100 and above.

With these games the FPS cannot go beyond a certain limit.

Try some newer games (Increasing ur refresh rate anD AA WILL decrease ur FPS)
