I downloaded some video files from net ,which were i think xvid encoded . Now i watched them traditionally in Nero showtime ,however as nero does not support hardware optimization ( i think so ) ,i installed k lite mega codec pack ,and was able to watch the videos in Wmplayer . However i was little upset about aspect ratio ,so i went to ffdshow video option ,did a couple of mis management ( which i do not remember in what order i did) ,and i got my aspect ratio .
However to my horror i found that the whole movie had suffered from loss of frame rate ,both in wmplayer and nero showtime . In my panic i downloaded vlc player and voila i could view the movie in all it's glory .Also wmplayer was not able to play many of the movies ,but when i uninstalled k lite ,it could play them minus my modification.
However happiness was shortened as next time i booted the pc ,vlc player was not opening ANY FILE . What should i do ? After spending many a bandwidth ,i do not want to see slideshow .
