I m using Vista Home premium. All of a sudden video files (.avi, .flv, .wmv, .mpg, quicktime) have stopped playing though I can watch DVD's using HP Quickplay/WMP. I hav no prbs playing audio files in Winamp n WMP.
Whenevr I try playing video files using Media Player (K Lite), I get an error saying Media Player encountered a problem n den it tries to find a solution. Whn I try VLC, i can hear the audio but no video appears. Nero Showtime also gives same error like Media Player.
I tried uninstalling, reinstalling but it is not helping me. Is there any solution for this prb.?
I m using C2D n nvidia graphics card 8400GS.

Though I had never touched this setting, somehow videos refused to play... Now it is working fine
