As most of you will have noticed, we have a brand new Site up at www.thinkdigit.com. We're still looking to enhance the functionalities of the new site, and your feedback will be valuable.

If there's some feature you'd like or a bug you've found, this is the place to inform us about it. Remember, we're looking for suggestions for the new ThinkDigit.com site, and not the forum, so please, no comments/suggestions about this forum in this thread.

If I may suggest., some alternate colours, Blue(Hue -150) and Brown(Hue +50).. or it's variations.

There is too much red. Looks a bit flashy. I think you can tone down the colors a bit. The links "sign-in", "quick registration" etc on the right could be moved to the top, like this.

Why the March issue is listed as 'current' issue?!

The search page that opens up should be integated into thinkdigit main page. People would come to digit site not for searching but to mainly browse tech news and magazine contents, so showing search page first is toally bad idea.

Red colour reminded me of Chip website! I agree that its too-overused colour. Chage it!

Navigating thru site seems relatively fast. Thats cool.

1. There seems some problem because of which you cannot sign-in using Opera.
2. english has been way too sloppy at some places.
3. While subscribing for newsletters, the email address is not confirmed by sending any confirmation email.
4. The welcome letter which is sent after you subscribe has horrible english:

Hello rohan Your newsletter signup is successfully complated. Now you can receive monthly newsletter from thinkdigit.

-No comma after Hello Rohan.
-Spelling of completed is wrong
-thinkdigit has been written so loosely. Doesn't feel like a brand!

5. No email confirmation is sent on registration. Directly a welcome email is sent.

Finally its here! I remember raaabo promising it in l8 nite digit conf years back!
It certainly took a long time.
The design is not spectacular but isnt shabby either. And why do all these tech machs love the colour red so much?
The amount of content available online has been increased (by manifols) which is also awesome.
Overall its definitely a big big improvement. But I still think its behind other indian tech sites like Tech2.com or Pcworld.

I found out a bug

Whenever u quote someone's post in ur post, the post will not be counted ie the post count wont increase.But it works rite with normal posts(without quotes).

1 more thing i noticed other than the fact that the new look is plain right ugly is that now whenever i copy paste a linked text, the link is no more there and only the text is there, which wasn't the case previously, if copied a text that was linked from somewhere to the forums it was parsed into bbcodes automatically.

This Forum is starting to Suck now. :mad:

Mainly due to the ADS all over the place. Really failed to understand how hard it is to manage a Forum without any ADS for you guys. :confused:

First, ADS were put in the Top. Now you have started to put it on the right. What next ?
Ads on Left & Bottom as well ? :x You want some more tips as to where else to put ads. Here is 1 place. Whenever the User posts something, Display a Full PAGE AD IMAGE & then redirect him to the page where he posted.

And give an option to change from the default RED theme. It looks really BAD. :-?

Here's a temporary solution for people with Firefox and adblockplus. Just block everything red by right click > Adblock image. As for ads, I don't see any as in before, adp handles everthing.

Did you enable a Ad Subscription Filter? I just installed it and skipped that step and the ads did show up. I went pack to the Add-in Preferences and added EasyList USA as the Ad subscription filter and then restarted Firefox and now it works. No ads.

Er., it doesn't? I have used ADP since when I don't remember and I never see ads in any sites which ADP can't handle. What subscription do you have for ADP? I had selected the first USA list in ADP option iirc.

Ads ? I do not see any. Those who are having trouble with ads, use AdBlock Plus in FF and IE7 Pro in IE, should solve it.

The new look is definitely looking professional IMO. Its good to have the same interface all over the site but we all are so used to previous theme, its becoming very difficult to navigate through forum using this new theme. The fonts are not very good so as the color. Can we have the old themes back as an optional choice? :)

"Ctrl+F5" doesnt use browser cache and loads everything again from the server. So its always better to use "Ctrl+F5", if you have made some graphical changes in website. Its better to use hard refresh than clearing whole browser cache.

I duno why ppl here are screaming about red color. I dont see any wrong/discomfort with red. Blue is common. Red is unique. Current theme isnt completely red there is a blend of grey , black, white red.
But I prefer fluid forum. This isnt fair to force ads on right side of forum, as our eyes have to focus on left side completely, quite annoying. fonts are also not so good. Definitely there seems some improvement but still lot of room there to get more elegant.

As every1 suggested...dark red/brown more desirable than current bolded red fonts.

Advice for 9dot9: Blue is the most eye friendly colour, followed by green. Black and White are also very eye friendly. But Red is the exact opposite. Red hurts eyes. Please get a better theme. How about the one I suggested in a previous post ? Its bluish white
