Google is the second Brain to many of us.
It uses white screen which consumes higher power.:(
If Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of pages viewed, according to calculations, 750 mega watts/hour of power per year would be saved"

In response, Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but obviously
with lower energy consumption: :p

The LCD doesn't care if it is black or white as it's on anyway... no matter what color is run. Mayb using a single color or min deviations in color thruout the screen'll save some power as the cpu/gpu needs to calculate lesser as to where the color has to be what.... mayb...
Tweaking brightness and contrast and settings has a bigger effect.
