Ethernet card problem

I have dlink dfe 538tx installed. The drivers are also installed. The connection is not loose. But still my Device Manager in XP says "Device is not working". Please help

I also have a second ethernet card installed from TP-Link which is 10/100/1000 and is working fine.

what icon you are getting in device manager??

Trying changing PCI slot, and install the driver again.
