I often buy costly dvd's such as of sony and write data into it. but after writing, the dvd cannot be read by my drive(LG) but on my friend's sony combo drive, it could be easily read. And in my drive there is no problem for low-cost dvd'd such as those of national. The written sony drive appears as DVD-R and when trying to write on it once again, nero doesnot identify is as a plain dvd. I took properties of that drive and it has a filesystem of RAW. why does this happen? Problem with my writer? How can i cure it?

what is a low cost DVD, I never buy sony, I buy moser baer. Best DVD, I bought 100 box of sonyand alot got wasted, and in moser baer the count was lower. And I thought LG or samsung have better read capabilities than sony writers
