The ad does make sense actually. There's a lot of dudes in this forum. At least 5% of the total must be one swinging the other way.
And to the rest: What's with the anti-ad campaign? Ads are not all that bad, although, the layout of ads on this forum is pretty pathetic.

while foruming I disable javascript in opera and change to cached images too. damn fast page loading time and low bandwidth usage. :D

My all time favourite Opera feature. I absolutely love this too :D
With this option I can comfortably surf even on a 33kbps dialup..
Isn't helping much on my side. I see ads ALL the time on Opera
Try this adblock list (http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/opera/) Block content in Opera works great for me :)
