E6850 is expensive and obsolete. Go for E8200 with overclock, or E8400 without overclock.

P35 motherboards are plenty. The best one in the high end segment is the Abit IP35-Pro (http://www.chotocheeta.com/2008/02/10/quick-look-review-at-performance-motherboard-abit-ip35-pro/).
A lesser and more mainstream board is the Abit IP35-E.
both are brothers, with the former being the enthusiast's and overclocker's delight, and the later being a power hungry hole in the wallet guy's delight.

ya thats true go for E 8400 its very good choice and in motherboard go for asus P5K Premium Vista edition. Abit IP35-pro is also good motherboard.:)

pardon me 4 postin here.....
there r many chipsets like intel, nvidia, ati etc on the motherboard
with 1333MHz FSB

but if he choose intel chipset then will he gonna miss somethin better provided
by nvidia.....or not ;)

:cool:last but not the least its cost dat determines its features & performance

higher (cost) is directly proportional to higher (performance + features)

Which is the best mo bo in Asus that is based on intel P35.....mobo...
Actually the the cost is almost exceeding my budget...to buy a system. I have a total budget of about
40k...Is it possible to buy a system with below noted config. at that cost....

Intel E8400
Intel P35 Based mobo and chipset
2GB corsair DDR2 RAM at 800 mhz(2*1)
250 GB seagate HDD
sony DVD writer
Zebronics cabinet
asus EN8500 GT graphics card
Key board,mouse,sepeakers(logitech)
Microtech UPS...600KVA

This what i am expecting ..... If u think that some thing is better than this pls recomend it.....(not confident with the graphics card)

SONY AD-7190A - 1250

40k---
Intel E8400 + Abit IP35 PRo= 9400 + 9400 = 18800
2gb Corsair 800mhz Ram=2000
250gb HDD=2800
Writer+Cabinet=1200+2000=3200
Keyboard + Mouse= around 1000 (MS)
Cooler Master 500W PSU=3400-yea u'll need it
Speakers= Antec 251 for 2200
And Gfx Card= Asus 8600GT for 6k
Total=37200

You can add a better card but i dont know if ATI has a card around 8-9k.but if u can extend a 1000 bucks go for 9600GT.

EDIT-- Since 9600GT has a PCI 2.0 i'd suggest going for a P7N-Sli .total cost remains the same

^^^ i think he sud get a IP35-E instead of IP35-Pro and use the money saved on the mobo to get a 9600GT/8800GT.

true.but to unlock the full potential of that proccy he'd need a good board so even if he buys IP35Pro\P7NSli the total cost remains in his budget.

i edited my post .
