No Account Picture on Xp's start menu

I use XP Pro SP2 with all the latest updates . My start Menu is the XP style but it does not display the account picture and displays only the account name. How can I get back the picture. Yes I have selected a pic in the User Profiles :?: .Any hints???

User Picture is Missing on Start Menu: It's only there if you are using XP themes. If using classic there is no picture. Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 shimgvw

what does the network have to do with anything ?

@zodiac .... do u use the default theme ? or are u using another Visual Style ?
if ur using something other than the default look then that VS must support the user pic .... else look for one which supports it

Yeah ! I do use the default theme (blue) . :o
BTW I remember i changed the login screen to tht windows 2000 style (u must press ctrl+alt+del to login and all tht).Does this have anything 2 do with the pic??? :?:
